While music festivals have been a major catalyst for the steep rise in music sponsorship spend, there are a multitude of other ways that brands are taking advantage of to tap into this major consumer passion point.

We’ll drop the needle on the record with the Market Watch presented by David Bakula, SVP, Global Product Leadership and Industry Insights, Nielsen Music. David will walk us through the Canadian findings of their Music 360 report with insights on what consumers want when brands engage through music, and how the current and future trends around music consumption indicate a stable & viable music market now and for the foreseeable future. He’ll also share a few favourite examples of who’s hitting all the right notes and what it looks like to be a bit out of key.

After the Market Watch, Nick Hodge, Vice President of Feldman Entertainment Partnerships, will moderate a panel discussion speaking to key learnings from a diverse group of cutting edge marketers representing many sides of the business.

We’ll hear from Adam Burchill, Senior Director, Marketing and Global Partnerships, Music and Live Entertainment, MLSE, around their work with brands inside and outside of arenas, concert halls, and festival grounds. Dante Anderson, Director, Brand Marketing, OLG, will share insights from curating bespoke events as part of LOTTO MAX UP CLOSE. Maria Naimark, Sponsorship, TD, will share the company’s perspective from over 15 years of music sponsorships including community programs and festivals.

Plus, what's a music panel without the tunes? We'll have a live performance courtesy of Feldman Entertainment Partnerships. The DJ will get us moving on the way in and keep the beat for a new take on an old favourite, the Business Card Boogie.
